Short dogsledding tour

Before and after the tour, warm up with warm drinks at Engholm Lodge and learn exciting things about breeding huskies and life in the far north. The entire activity takes about 2 hours, the dog sled ride about 1 hour. For the most part, the tour leads far away from the beaten path in the varied terrain of the nearby, untouched landscape. The tour starts at the Engholm Husky Design Lodge with a short introduction. An adequate level of fitness, concentration and a sense of balance are the most important attributes that are required. You have your "own" sled and are responsible for 4-6 dogs. Participants without prior knowledge of dog sledding drive a tandem team with 2 sledges and 8-10 dogs. You share a dog team with a partner or the guide. If you have physical limitations that make it difficult to use a dog sled, you may be able to sit on the dog sled as a passenger with the guide (this should be clarified beforehand).
