Day 2: Husky tour preparation
After breakfast, you will be taken to get your arctic winter gear, which will keep you comfortable and warm throughout the expedition. After that you will be given an introduction on the best way to care for your dogs and drive the sleds. Equipment will be checked, and all other tour preparations will be made. You will then meet your team of excited huskies!
Days 3-7: Dog sledding off the beaten tracks

On this tour, you will sleep in cozy and heated tents in the wilderness, or if your route leads you to the Finmark tableau, you will probably spend a night in a lonely mountain hut as well. You may also be lucky enough to spot the Aurora Borealis, aka the incredible Northern Lights.
At the end of the tour, you will return to the guide's lodge to enjoy a well-deserved hot shower, a cozy heated wooden sauna, and an outdoor hot tub. Your tour group will gather together to enjoy a hot meal together, giving you the chance to discuss the highlights of your trip, which are sure to be memories that will last a lifetime.

Whichever location you are traveling from, our experienced advisors will work with you to ensure that you have the smoothest and easiest connections to and from your tour.
Travel costs:
As this trip is a private tour, the costs depend on the number of participants. If you book this trip, you will stay among yourselves for the booked date and only travel with the people you have booked the trip with. The price quoted is for a booking of four people. If there are only two, three or one of you, the price will be higher.
Different cancellation conditions: For this destination, 100% cancellation fees apply after confirmed booking. For this reason, we recommend that clients take out insurance in this case. If the participant does not wish to (or cannot) take part in what is booked - no refund is granted. Additionally, further costs may arise if cancellation occurs before the final payment is made.
Additional Information:
The safety of our guests and animals is our top priority on all of our tours. The far north can have fluctuating and unpredictable weather with very strong temperature differences. Whilst we strive to follow the planned trails as closely as possible, we reserve the right to change the order of activities, the route of safaris, and the intensity of the excursions should the needs of our guests or animals necessitate it, or if the weather conditions compromise our pre-planned route. This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc). Feel free to contact us if you would like a more detailed assessment of this tour and travel period. The service providers and tour providers always perform their services in compliance with and in accordance with the official requirements and requirements applicable at the time of stay. For this reason, corona-related reasonable usage rules or restrictions may arise when using said services. Please note these official requirements (Google Translate). Show all dates
