Husky tour for experienced participants

This 2.5-hour experience is designed for guests who have already taken part in a dog sled tour and now wish to take the next step into the world of mushing. Instead of the larger sleds used on beginner tours, you will drive smaller racing sleds, such as those used in training and competitions. There are no passengers: you will steer your own team as a musher, learning how to work with the dogs and control the sled with technical precision. In a small group, you will receive personalised instruction from an experienced musher, including insights from years of training and racing with Alaskan Huskies. Prerequisites for this tour are good physical fitness and the ability to stand and steer confidently. After the drive, you’ll help unharness the dogs and spend time with them in the yard.
