Experience the spectacular backcountry in true Yukon style with an unforgettable dog sled ride on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dun First Nation, led by experienced guides. You will embark on an adventure through the snow and marvel at the impressive views of the Fish Lake mountains. You will learn how to put on the dogs' harnesses and harness them to the sled yourself - this is an experience that requires your active cooperation! Make friends with the huskies and learn all about the Yukon Quest, mushing and the gold rush. Afternoon tour only: Warm up around the campfire at Rosehip Tea Camp with a cup of rosehip tea or hot chocolate, roast your bison smokies and s'more over the campfire while the guides tell stories about dog sledding and the Yukon. This activity lasts a total of 3 - 4 hours and includes transportation to and from your hotel in downtown Whitehorse as well as hot drinks and the aforementioned snacks on the afternoon tour. Children up to 11 years receive a discount. Please note that not all activities can be carried out on all days.
