Half Day Dog Sled Tour

Explore the wilderness of the Yukon on a dog sled! On this tour, you will be picked up from your accommodation, drive to the husky farm and receive instructions on how to drive a husky sled. Familiarize yourself with the dogs and get on a sled in pairs before setting off. You can take turns driving on the way. If you would like to drive your own sledge without taking turns (12 years minimum), there is a surcharge of €45. Alternatively, for a surcharge of €25, you can also ride the dog sled as two guests plus a guide (3 people per sled). Including the transfer, this tour takes about 3 - 4 hours, the sledging tour itself takes about 2 hours. You will receive a small snack and hot drinks at the husky farm or on the way. Children up to 11 years receive a discount. Please note that not all activities can be carried out on all days. From Whitehorse, drive approximately 30 km to the wildlife reserve. Once there, a guided tour offers you great opportunities to observe and photograph native wildlife in their natural habitat, including Dall Sheep, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Deer, Elk, Woodland Caribou, Wood Bison, Musk-Ox and Moose. Wildlife Preserve & Hot Springs

Take part in a guided tour of the wildlife reserve and then relax in the Eclipse Hot Springs. From Whitehorse, a transfer takes you approx. 30 km to the wildlife reserve. Here you have great opportunities to observe and photograph native wild animals in their natural habitat: You can see Dall Sheep, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Deer, Moose, Woodland Caribous, Wood Bisons, Musk-Oxs and Elks, usually at close range! The guided tour in the reserve lasts approx. 1.5 - 2 hours. Afterwards, drive a short distance to the Eclipse Hot Springs. Relax in the hot pools and enjoy the incredible winter landscape of the Yukon. You will stay there for around 2 hours before being taken back to Whitehorse. Husky Rush Experience

Experience the spectacular backcountry in true Yukon style with an unforgettable dog sled ride on the traditional territory of the Kwanlin Dun First Nation, led by experienced guides. You will embark on an adventure through the snow and marvel at the impressive views of the Fish Lake mountains. You will learn how to put on the dogs' harnesses and harness them to the sled yourself - this is an experience that requires your active cooperation! Make friends with the huskies and learn all about the Yukon Quest, mushing and the gold rush. Afternoon tour only: Warm up around the campfire at Rosehip Tea Camp with a cup of rosehip tea or hot chocolate, roast your locally sourced smokies and s'more over the campfire while the guides tell stories about dog sledding and the Yukon. One Night of Northern lights Wachting

These are the spectacular and legendary Northern Lights, and observations like the one described are not uncommon in the Yukon. Northern Lights observations take place outside the city, far away from any light pollution. A heated, cozy cabin or tent is available for your comfort. Ice Fishing

On this half-day excursion, you’ll be picked up at your cabin and taken out onto the lake—right to where the best fishing spots are. Once there, a fire barrel and a tent shelter will keep you warm and cozy while you try your hand at ice fishing and maybe even catch your dinner for tonight. The price includes all fishing gear and instructions on how to use snowshoes and fish safely on the ice. Blankets, a snack, and hot drinks are also included. If you don’t already have a fishing license, you’ll need to pay an additional $10 for one. The total duration is about 3 to 4 hours.
