The Tar Deluxe rooms combine Nordic design traditions with high-quality natural materials and customized furniture design, allowing you to unwind and focus entirely on the surrounding natural landscape. The glass igloos are located about 200 m from the hotel and offer private views of the natural surroundings, as there are only two on site. The Aihki Kelo Villa is a cosy cabin built from rare Kelo timber – silver-grey, full of character and shaped by decades of Arctic seasons. The villa is situated around 400 metres from the hotel entrance at the end of a driveway, with no immediate neighbours, surrounded by woodland and offering completely private views. Thanks to the ski-in/ski-out access, you can head straight out onto the slopes: one of them starts just 15 metres from the cabin. Inside, you’ll find a spacious living room with a fireplace, a dining table for eight people and a sofa bed, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. There are four bedrooms in total: on the first floor, one master bedroom with an extra-large king-size bed and a small room with two twin beds; on the third floor, two master bedrooms with twin beds. Book a private lesson to learn the techniques of alpine skiing or snowboarding with professional ski instructors on the slopes of Pikku-Syöte. Beginners get an introduction to these winter sports, while keen skiers and snowboarders can work on refining their technique with the help of experienced guides. The lessons are structured to provide just the right level of challenge for you. You can choose between 50-minute or 100-minute sessions (€82 or €132 respectively). The ski pass is included for the duration of the lesson. Rental gear for the lesson costs €19. The price applies to the first person. Explore the visitor centre of the world’s northernmost ceramics factory and immerse yourself in the unique world of Lapland design. PENTIK was founded in 1971 and is now internationally renowned for its unique ceramic pieces, inspired by the rugged landscape of the north. During a guided tour of the factory museum, you’ll learn more about the brand’s history, the art of its founder Anu Pentik, and Finnish culture. The excursion lasts around 4 hours in total. The ceramic factory is about a 55-minute drive from the hotel (transfer included). The price also includes the guided tour and a discount code for shopping. If you wish, the visit can be combined with a detour to a reindeer farm to turn it into a full-day activity.

Discover Nordic wellbeing during a creative, hands-on 45-minute experience at the SEES Scent Lab & Berry Powder Studio. You’ll create your own personalised fragrance using pure essential oils, and can take it home as a 5-ml roll-on – a little souvenir that will remind you of your time in the Finnish countryside. You’ll also blend your own berry powder mix from Nordic superfoods such as blueberries, lingonberries and sea buckthorn. These powders are rich in natural vitamins, contain no additives and are a delicious part of everyday life in Finland. A hot drink is also included during the workshop.

After a transfer of around 40 minutes, you’ll be welcomed by experienced guides at a local husky farm and given an introduction to handling the dog sled.
