Husky Safari

At a local husky farm, an experienced guide will show you how to handle the dog sled before you set off with the dogs on a journey through the winter forest. Usually, two people share a sled, but if you’d like to drive alone, you can book this option for an additional charge. Depending on the tour you choose, the safari lasts around 1.5 hours or 2 to 2.5 hours in total (not just driving time) and covers a distance of 6 km or 12 km. The husky farm is about a 15-minute drive from the hotel. A hot drink and a small snack are included. The guide will decide on the spot whether a child is old enough and tall enough to drive the sled themselves or will only ride as a passenger. For safety reasons, the tour does not take place at temperatures of -25°C or colder, as this is considered unsuitable for the dogs.
