Ice Fishing

Try your hand at ice fishing in the winter landscape of Syöte. Under expert guidance, you’ll drill your own hole in the ice and lower your line into the water beneath you. Then the patient waiting begins – very much in keeping with the Finnish way of life: stay calm, persevere, and let nature take its course. The total duration is 2.5 hours, with the starting point located about a 20-minute drive from the hotel (transfer included). A hot drink and a snack are provided during the activity so you can warm up from time to time. Ice fishing can also be perfectly combined with a visit to a reindeer farm to make a full-day excursion, as both activities take place right next to each other.
