Reindeer feeding & Storytelling

Embark on a journey into the heart of Sami culture, accompanied by experienced guides who will share their knowledge of Sami traditions, reindeer herding, and life in the Arctic. Your trip begins with a 20-minute walk through the peaceful, snow-covered landscape to the Wilderness Camp, where you'll meet majestic reindeer, which you can even feed! While doing so, you'll learn facts about their role in Sami culture and unique reindeer herding traditions. You'll then enter a lavvu (a traditional Sami herder's tent). Listen to interesting stories around an open fire, see authentic Sami artifacts, and experience the art of lasso throwing. You'll also get the chance to taste traditional Sami food cooked over the fire.
