Day 3: On snowshoes into the nature and Northern Lights observation
After breakfast, a new adventure awaits you in the middle of Norwegian nature. In a traditional and original way, you will walk through the wilderness on snowshoes. You will not only experience the peace and quiet of the activity, but you will also learn exciting facts from your guide. He will tell you stories about life in harmony with nature and also teach you something about survival in the wilderness. You will hike for about 3.5 hours through the varied landscapes of Norway – an activity through which you can let go off any stress. During your excursion, you will warm up with a snack before heading back. In the evening after dinner, another very special excursion is on your schedule. With a little luck, you will be able to marvel at the mystical northern lights. At Camp Nikka, you can make yourself comfortable by the fire. Here, you will also be at an ideal observation point with the best chances of seeing the Northern Lights. In a cosy Lavvu tent, you will enjoy a snack and hot drinks while waiting for the magical auroras to appear. The trip lasts about 4 hours.
Day 4: Dog sledding tour to remember
On this day you can look forward to a very special experience. After breakfast, you will make your way to a husky farm where you will already be awaited with a lot of anticipation. This husky farm is very special, because the dogs can run freely within their compound. Extra attention is paid to an appropriate and particularly affectionate keeping of the animals. You will feel the energy and enthusiasm of the huskies immediately. After a briefing and safety instructions, you will climb into the driving seat of the dog sled yourself (2 persons per sled). Your husky team will pull you into the wilderness of Norway while showing you the beautiful nature from a special perspective. Enjoy the tranquillity and gorgeous views that pass you by. Back at the husky farm, you will have enough time to pet the dogs and take care of them. You will warm up with a snack and drinks and learn exciting things about breeding procedures. After about 3.5 hours, you will return to the hotel and use the remaining time to relax. During the dinner, you can look back at all the highlights of this adventure-packed day.
Day 5: In the world of the Sámi and reindeers
Start the day with a regional breakfast. Today, you will visit a reindeer herd and dive into the world of the Sámi. In a cosy Lavvu tent, you will listen to stories about the Sámi and learn about the traditions of these indigenous people of Lapland. At an open fire, you will make yourself comfortable and warm up. The reindeers are already waiting for you. Now, you will get to experience the life of a reindeer herder. You will have the opportunity to feed the reindeers and get very close to them. The trip lasts about 4 hours. In the evening, you will enjoy a hearty dinner.
Day 6: Free day and Northern Lights snowshoe hike in the evening
After breakfast, you will have free time until dinner. You can arrange your stay according to your own wishes and ideas. Whether you are looking for relaxation or action – there is something for everyone here. You can either book additional activities or explore the surroundings on your own. After dinner, you will go hunting for the Northern Lights. Your guide will lead you into the surrounding wilderness on snowshoes and you will go in search of the Northern Lights. The trail will take you along viewpoints with the best chances of spotting the mystical lights. During the tour you will have a short break. At the campfire, you can warm up and enjoy hot drinks. The trip will take about 4 hours.
Day 7: Traditional cross-country skiing excursion
You start the day with a hearty breakfast. Following the local traditions, you will be on cross-country skis today and experience the winter wonderland in northern Norway for the last time during your trip. After a short introduction, you will be skiing with your guide over prepared tracks through the forest and past fantastic views. With a little more experience, you also have the opportunity to make your own way through the snow. During a break, you will warm up and gain new strength with snacks and hot drinks. After about 3 hours, you will return to your accommodation. In the evening, a delicious dinner awaits you.
Day 8: Departure
After a final breakfast of local delicacies, you will embark on your journey home. Your transfer service will take you back to the airport. You will take home countless memories and unique experiences. The tour services start with dinner on the first day and end with breakfast on day 8.

Additional Information:
The order of tours and activities within this itinerary may vary due to weather conditions and other contributing factors that must be taken into account by the guides when planning your tour. You will receive the exact order of activities once you arrive on site. The far north can have fluctuating and unpredictable weather with very strong temperature differences. The safety of guests and animals comes first, and for this reason, we reserve the right to change the itinerary and intensity of activities if and when needed. This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc). Feel free to contact us if you would like a more detailed assessment of this tour and travel period. The service providers and tour providers always perform their services in compliance with and in accordance with the official requirements and requirements applicable at the time of stay. For this reason, corona-related reasonable usage rules or restrictions may arise when using said services. Please note these official requirements (Google Translate). Show all dates
