Snowmobile Safari to the Reindeer Farm

After receiving safety instructions and an introduction to the snowmobile, you will set off through the wilderness and head to a traditional reindeer camp. Here, you will have the chance to get very close to the fascinating animals and listen to the exciting stories of a local herder about the reindeer and Sámi traditions. You can enjoy the silence with a ride in a reindeer sleigh. Then, there will be warm drinks and pulla (a sweet Finnish bun) waiting for you in the kota by an open fire. The entire excursion takes about 3 hours and the snowmobile is shared between two. If you would like to drive your own snowmobile, there is an additional charge of €50 per person. Please note that driving a snowmobile is only allowed from the age of 18 and with a valid driving licence. Children taller than 140 cm may ride as a passenger behind a parent; smaller children will sit in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. The final decision always rests with the guide.
