Discover the breathtaking landscape of Lapland on a trip to the 321-metre-high Luppio Hill, which offers a spectacular view of the wilderness. The hill also has historical significance, as it was the first tourist destination in Lapland back in the 19th century. You will then visit the Arctic Circle Monument in the village of Juoksenki, where the sun never sets on Midsummer's Day and never rises on Midwinter's Day. Here you will learn why the exact position of the Arctic Circle changes over the years. The tour continues to a local workshop in Finland, where you can refine and decorate your own traditional Lappish kuksa, a wooden cup made of one single birch knot. Duration: 7 - 8 hours
