"Andreas and Kerstin offer you an insight into life in the far north in a familiar and loving environment: exciting stories, breathtaking tours and unforgettable moments around the campfire. Join the two emigrants on their way."
Kerstin and Andreas emigrated to Sweden a few years ago and fulfilled their personal dream there. In the triangle between Sorsele, Arjeplog and Arvidsjaur, the two found a place they had not been looking for:
a wonderful environment in the 3-inhabitant village Gasa, just below the Arctic Circle.
There they left their personal tracks in the snow '.
'Who is behind tracks in the snow?'
The tours of 'Huskycamp Gasa' offer you a very personal, familiar and at the same time exciting insight into the world of huskies, northern lights and love for the far north.
'Andreas' is a native Saxon, a passionate climber and sailor and manages the camp today. He is active in the sled dog sport and with his Siberian huskies already European champion and fourth in the World Cup. He also mastered the Alpine Trail, one of the toughest stage races in Europe.
'Kerstin' is a genuine Mecklenburgian and studied graduate journalist. As a freelance journalist, she loves riding, sailing, paddling and would like to pause on the back of her favorite horse. With an eye for details, she will definitely make an unforgettable souvenir photo on the dog sled.
'The pack in Huskycamp Gasa'
In her 'Huskycamp Gasa' they work with Siberian and Alaskan Huskies. Under the kennel name "Coastdevils" they breed Siberian huskies as working dogs. The age structure in her pack ranges from the puppy to the 14-year-old pensioner.
Beautiful husky tours through the solitude of Swedish Lapland, adventurous stories around the campfire and soothing evenings in your own wooden sauna make your personal winter dream come true in Sweden.
