Kerstin and Andreas have made a dream come true with their husky farm in Swedish Lapland, and together with your hosts, you will experience the most beautiful things Lapland has to offer: Huskies, endless wilderness, exciting stories, and dreamlike landscapes. Be enchanted by exciting stories about life in the far north and get the chance to chase the ethereal Northern Lights across the night sky.
Adventure Weekend: The Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
After you arrive at the airport, you will be personally welcomed and driven to the camp. There you will get to know the other guests in a relaxed atmosphere and discuss the details of the next two days. Enjoy a delicious dinner together and get a good night of rest, ready for the adventures that like ahead.

After a delicious breakfast with a view of the wild landscape of Lapland, Andreas and Kerstin will fill you in on the basics of sled dog driving. Then the adventure begins! You will never forget the first few yards with your husky team as you set out on your exhilarating journey. The speed and silence of your sled will only be interrupted by your dogs' excitable panting and the crunch of untouched snow beneath their paws. Enjoy the enchanting winter landscape and the pure feeling of freedom as the invigorating Arctic air blows through your hair and brushes your cheeks. You will end this exciting day around the campfire with a Muurikka with a traditional Finnish meal.
Day 3: The Highlight of Your Adventure Weekend
Strengthened by a delicious breakfast in familiar company, you can hear your huskies howling outside in anticipation for more exciting adventures. You will be much more familiar with your sled and the dogs by now, and today you will experience the unique wilderness of this country at it's very best on an amazing husky tour. You will glide over frozen lakes and whisk through snow-covered forests, perhaps glimpsing animals in their natural habitats, grazing in winter pastures. The frosty temperatures will quickly be forgotten in the evening as you relax in a traditional wood-fired sauna. The chances to see the Northern Lights will be very high, so don't forget to cast your eyes upwards to watch them dance across the night sky.
Day 4: Farewell and Return Flight
Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end, and it will be time to say goodbye to your lovely hosts and your faithful Huskies. After a fond farewell, you will be transferred back to the airport in Arvidsjaur. The short escape from everyday life is already over, but the memories you made here will last for a lifetime!
Accommodation
You will be accommodated in cosy log cabins which sleep 2 people per cabin. The cabins are rustically designed and equipped with a small stove, kitchenette, a dry toilet and a veranda with stunning views over the lake. Toilet and shower facilities are located in the main house, about 50 m away.
Single supplement
Are you travelling alone? No problem! On this tour, you can choose the option "single room" and occupy a log cabin for yourself. Single Supplement charge applies at €150.

This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc).
