In 1987, he participated in the longest sled dog race in Europe, followed in 2006 with the Iditarod the longest sled dog race in the world. With more than 40 years of experience in extreme challenges and long-distance sled dog racing, Tore has a nearly unbeatable knowledge in the fascinating world of dog sledding. The safety and well-being of his guests is paramount for him and the entire Active tromso team.
In an absolutely gorgeous landscape you have the choice between short trips and multi-day tours. On the longer days, you will not only enjoy a pristine, snow-covered landscape, you also have the chance to be enchanted by the magical northern lights. During a one-week trip you will experience the Arctic world in its most beautiful form. You are solely responsible for your dog team and will quickly build a lifelong friendship with the animals.
