With Lappland Nature Dreams, Raphael and Yvonne Illien have created a deliberately small and personal husky kennel in the heart of Swedish Lapland. Together with their son, they live near Glommersträsk alongside 28 Alaskan Huskies and one hunting dog, surrounded by forests, lakes, and Arctic wilderness far away from large-scale tourism and mass-market experiences. Rather than focusing on high guest volumes, Lappland Nature Dreams is built around authentic experiences and a genuine connection to life with sled dogs. Guests are invited to become part of everyday kennel life and experience the realities of Arctic outdoor living. The dogs are not treated as attractions, but as valued family members and working companions that shape the rhythm of daily life.
