Aurora Snowshoe Evening

This evening snowshoe walk takes you at a leisurely pace through the Arctic winter landscape - far away from any distracting light pollution and with a view of the northern night sky. The starting point is the hotel, where you will meet your guide and set off straight from there on snowshoes into the snow-covered surroundings. The route winds through forests and more open terrain, following quiet paths that emerge naturally from the landscape. The leisurely pace allows you to soak up the special atmosphere of the Arctic night, hear the crunch of the snow beneath your footsteps and savour the anticipation of what might appear in the sky. Halfway through the tour, you will stop for a break at a prepared campfire site. Warm drinks are served by the fire while the guide tells stories about Lapland, the Arctic wilderness and the Northern Lights. Afterwards, you will head back to the hotel. Duration: 2 hours.
