Arcora Husky Safari

This tour is a real classic in Lapland, but it's about more than just the dog sled ride: it's about connecting with animals and nature, and about a moment when all sense of haste disappears. Your guide will first take your small group to a nearby husky farm in a snowmobile-pulled sledge. There, you will receive a safety briefing and get to know your husky team. The sleds are assigned in pairs and off you go: along hills, across frozen lakes and through peaceful forest paths. Along the way, you will stop to switch places so that everyone gets a turn at driving. At the end, you will thank your four-legged team, meet, if the moment allows, the puppies and return to the hotel. Duration: approx. 2 hours. Distance in December: 4 - 6 km; from January to March: 8 - 12 km. Children aged 12+ are generally allowed to steer the sled themselves, depending on their height. Children aged 4 to 11 sit in the guide's sled. Please note that the final decision regarding children rests with the guide. Child discount (4 - 11): 40%. Private single-drive allowing you to guide your own sled independently throughout the journey: +160 € per person.
