Day 2: Snowmobile tour and candlelight dinner at the Aurora Hideaway
After a rich breakfast, prepare for a two-hour nature adventure by snowmobile. You will explore the frozen sea and the islands of the archipelago, keeping your eyes open for wildlife in the beautiful landscape. Lunch will be served at the lodge after the morning adventure.
This evening, it's time for one of the highlights of your trip: a candle light dinner at the Aurora Hideaway, a mobile restaurant somewhere on the frozen Arctic sea. This experience begins with a snowmobile transfer to the mobile restaurant. Upon arrival you will be served a drink and after that a hot soup as an appetizer. The stove in the Aurora Hideaway crackles and the candles create a cozy and romantic atmosphere. Now you have the opportunity to go outside to look for northern lights dancing above you or just enjoy the absolute silence and the stars in the sky. You will have snowshoes at your disposal, so you can take a short walk while your guide prepares the main course over the outdoor fire. The relaxing evening will be rounded off with dessert, tea and coffee before you return to the lodge for a good night's sleep.
Day 3: Free day and Aurora snowshoeing
After a hearty breakfast, it's the perfect time for a walk around the lodge. Say hello to the reindeer in the enclosure behind the cabins and walk along the snowmobile tracks over the frozen sea. Lunch will be served in the restaurant. In the evening, strap on snowshoes and head out for a walk in the forest to a nearby hill with your guide. You will have a wonderful view of the sea. Here you build a fire and enjoy dinner under the stars.
Day 4: Departure
Depending on your departure time, you can still relax at the lodge and enjoy the ambience before you are transferred to the train station or airport on time for your journey. There you can say goodbye with many new impressions and wonderful memories before you start your journey back home.
Accommodation:
The main building of Brändön Lodge is a log house that accommodates a restaurant, a lounge and relaxation area. Surrounding the main building are 15 log cabins overlooking the sea. Each cabin has been recently renovated and has a bathroom, two bedrooms with 2 single beds in each, a lounge and a covered veranda. The twin beds in one room can be pushed together to form a double bed.
Located north of Brändön Lodge is Pine Bay Lodge. This has 9 hotel rooms, including 4 singles and 5 doubles, and a large family apartment with two doubles and a single. In addition, there is a restaurant, bar and wood-fired sauna.

Additional Information:
The order of tours and activities within this itinerary may vary due to weather conditions and other contributing factors that must be taken into account by the guides when planning your tour. You will receive the exact order of activities once you arrive on site. The far north can have fluctuating and unpredictable weather with very strong temperature differences. This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc).
