After a delicious breakfast at the lodge, a 1.5-hour drive awaits you to meet your faithful companions for the day: the huskies! You will receive an introduction to the basics of dog sledding before setting off on a tour through the snowy landscape (2 persons / sled). The bond that develops between human and animal during this time is something very special. Along the way, you will stop to warm up by the campfire, enjoy a coffee and snacks and soak up the tranquillity of nature. The impressive backdrop of the Lyngen Alps provides the perfect panorama for this amazing experience. Back at the lodge, you can recover from your adventures in the sauna or jacuzzi, enjoy the beautiful view and fortify yourself with dinner.
Day 3: Snowmobile safari & New Year's Eve
The last day of the year promises pure thrills on a snowmoile safari through the breathtaking landscapes of Norway. After a short briefing, you will steer your own snowmobile over snow-covered trails and feel the freedom amidst spectacular views (2 persons / snowmobile). A special highlight awaits you in the evening: an exquisite 7-course New Year's Eve dinner. Celebrate the turn of the year in a relaxed atmosphere and toast the New Year, perhaps even under the magical glow of the Northern Lights.
Day 4: Whale watching in the Arctic Ocean
New Year's Day has an exciting whale safari in store. After breakfast, you will reach the harbour in Nord-Lenangen in some minutes and board a boat that will take you to the home of these majestic giants. On your search, you will explore the beautiful nature of northern Norway and get to know the sea like never before. Encountering whales in their natural habitat is a moving experience that you are sure to remember for a long time to come. Back at the lodge, you can relax in the sauna and jacuzzi and look forward to dinner.
