Arctic Husky and Northern Light Adventure Tour: the itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Initial Introduction
You will be picked up in the morning at Kiruna airport or your hotel in the city and taken to a parking lot near the accommodation in a drive of about one hour. From there you will cover the remaining approx. 3 km by snowmobile. Upon your arrival at the camp, you will have the opportunity to get familiar with your guide and the loveable dogs. A brief introduction to handling a dog sled will help you get acquainted with the upcoming activity. After an initial exploration tour, a cozy dinner awaits you at the camp to process the various impressions of the day.
Day 2: Through the Elk Winter Quarters
The second day starts with a hearty breakfast and feeding the dogs. Today, you will undertake an impressive tour through forests, the snow-covered tundra, and across frozen rivers and lakes. The area is the winter quarters of the elks, so you have a good chance of encountering the king of the forest and other wildlife. Dinner will be served again at the camp.

On the third day, another exciting dog sled ride through the Arctic landscape awaits you. Enjoy the endless vastness and silence of Sweden. After an eventful day, return to the camp to enjoy a delicious dinner and review the recent events. You have the opportunity to spend the night in one of the cozy rooms or, if you wish, in one of the special Aurora Huts (for extra charge). Maybe you will be lucky and experience the most beautiful natural spectacle of the far north: the Aurora Borealis - Northern Lights.
Day 4: Return to Civilization
The last day of your Arctic adventure begins with feeding the dogs and a delicious breakfast. Then it's time to drive back to civilization. A final snowmobile ride takes you back to the parking lot, from where you will be taken by minibus back to the town of Kiruna or to the airport.

Additional Information:
The order of tours and activities within this itinerary may vary due to weather conditions and other contributing factors that must be taken into account by the guides when planning your tour. You will receive the exact order of activities once you arrive on site. The far north can have fluctuating and unpredictable weather with very strong temperature differences. The safety of guests and animals comes first, and for this reason, we reserve the right to change the itinerary and intensity of activities if and when needed. This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc). Feel free to contact us if you would like a more detailed assessment of this tour and travel period. The service providers and tour providers always perform their services in compliance with and in accordance with the official requirements and requirements applicable at the time of stay. For this reason, corona-related reasonable usage rules or restrictions may arise when using said services. Please note these official requirements (Google Translate).
