Autumn northern lights in the Lyngen Alps

Autumn northern lights in the Lyngen Alps: The itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Northern Lights Workshop
At the beginning of your trip, you will be picked up by minibus from Tromsø and taken to your accommodation in Nord-Lenangen in a transfer of around 2 hours. On your way with a ferry passage over the Ullsfjord you will already get a first impression of your new surroundings and the time ahead. Once you arrive at your destination, a delicious dinner awaits you. This is followed by a workshop on how to take good pictures of the Northern Lights and where to look for them.

Day 2: Autumn hike to Lyngstuva
After breakfast, you go on a guided hike through Norwegian nature. Along the coast and past breathtaking landscapes, you will go to Lyngstuva, the northernmost tip of the Lyngen Peninsula. Back from your excursion, you can look forward to an afternoon coffee at your accommodation. After a well-deserved dinner, you can spend the evening in the sauna and jacuzzi (free for a one-time use).

Day 3: Free day and Northern Lights hike
Today is at your leisure. Enjoy breakfast before taking time for yourself or reading a good book. If you are interested, additional activities such as a fishing trip, various hikes or a visit to a distillery can be booked. You can find more details about this under "Extras". After dinner, you will hike together to a special viewpoint overlooking the Lyngen Alps and the sea. Far from any light pollution, this is the perfect opportunity to watch and photograph the famous Northern Lights.

Day 4: Farewell & Departure
Today, unfortunately, the moment has come to say goodbye to the far north - at least for the time being. During breakfast, you can relive the last days and reminisce about the time that has passed. Afterwards, you will be transferred to Tromsø to start your journey home. The new experiences and wonderful adventures are sure to stay with you for a long time.
