Husky Adventure Yukon: The Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and First Aurora Hunt
You will arrive in Whitehorse with about 1.5 hours to stock up on groceries for your upcoming husky adventure in the Yukon, and will then be transferred to the ranch about 20km away. After reaching your traditional and cosy yurt, you can hunt for the natural phenomenon of Aurora Borealis. After a short walk you can reach a dreamlike vantage point and get yourself comfortable. Hopefully, you will be lucky with a clear sky to be able to see these magical wonders of nature!
Day 2: Your husky adventure in Yukon
After a restful night, you will be awakened by the warm sunshine. Start your day with a smile, because today your very personal adventure awaits you. On your own husky sled you experience the surroundings around the lake in a fantastically beautiful way. After a brief briefing, you will head out on your husky adventure in Yukon and glide over frozen lakes, through snow-covered forests and over shining mountains. In the afternoon, relax in your yurt or explore the surroundings on your own by foot. Recharge your batteries, because as soon as the darkness sets over the landscape, turn your eyes upwards to the polar sky in search of the beautiful polar lights.
Day 3: Snowmobile safari and departure
Today you will start your last day of your husky adventure in the Yukon. Enjoy the morning at your leisure, and in the afternoon enjoy your last adventure with us in Canada. A ride with more adrenaline awaits you today. On a snowmobile (2 persons per snowmobile), you can whizz through the unique winter landscape around the ranch, collecting impressive memories and pictures along the way. Then say goodbye to the Huskies and the team, and head for the airport.
Accommodation During your husky adventure in the Yukon, you are accommodated in a cosy and unique Mongolian yurt with a fantastic view near the ranch which includes a double bed, cooking facility, and private fireplace; in the annex there are campshowers and dry toilets.
