Spend the remaining three nights of this tour in a ‘Sky Cabin’ with a glass roof that allows you to observe the stunning Northern Lights from your bed. Comfortable Husky Holiday in Finland: The itinerary

Day 1: Arrival
Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed and a transfer will take you to the lodge where you will be staying the next few days. Settle in without any rush and end this first day with a homemade Finnish dinner. With a bit of luck, you will already see the magical Northern Lights in the starry sky today.

Day 2: Explore the environment
After a restful night and a hearty breakfast, use this day to explore the surrounding area. You will receive information about the program for the coming days and will be provided with the appropriate clothes for polar temperatures.
Use this free time to get an overview of this wonderful place. Enjoy a private sauna in your apartment and relax in the cosy atmosphere.

Day 3: Your first husky safari
Today, it's time to meet your husky team! Your first trip with your four-legged companions will be all about learning and perfecting the technique of dog sledding. After a short introduction and safety briefing, you will get on the slopes of the sled and head out into the wilderness of Finland for a test drive of about 13 km. Enjoy the breathtaking views and be enchanted by the beauty of nature. Back at the lodge you can enjoy a delicious dinner and unwind in your private sauna.

Day 4: Husky day safari into the wilderness
Today’s route takes you through some 25 km to 35 km of snow-covered forests, frozen lakes, and open fields. Enjoy the silence that surrounds you during these 4 to 6 hours – only interrupted by the paws of the huskies on the snow underfoot. Lunch is served around the campfire in a cosy atmosphere. After the huskies have been taken care of, you will return to the lodge for a delicious dinner.

Day 5: Safari to a wilderness cabin
On this day you will set out into the wilderness and prepare for a night in a cosy rustic cabin. Passing unbelievable views and beautiful winter landscapes en route, you will forget everyday life for a while as you soak in this magical winter world. Lunch will be prepared at a campfire under the open sky. In the cabin there is a sauna waiting for you, which will do you some good after this eventful day. But first you take care of the dogs together as a team. There is no electricity, running water, showers or indoor toilets - a real wilderness experience! Prepare dinner together and enjoy the evening with your travel group. Over a delicious hot meal, share your favorite experiences and afterwards, with a bit of luck, you will be able to see the magical Northern Lights dancing in the sky.

Day 6: Back to Civilization
After feeding the dogs and a nice breakfast, prepare together for your next tour and get back on the runners of your husky sled. Your enthusiastic companions are looking forward to seeing you, as they do every day, and will be ready to go on another tour through the wilderness. Relax on your final ride and take in the beauty of nature. Back at the lodge, you will move into a unique glass roof sky cabin. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to attend a Northern Lights evening. In a traditional Kota, you will enjoy stunning pictures of the polar lights beside a warm fire and with a hot drink. This Northern Lights evening is a great opportunity to get a deep insight into the topic of the so-called Aurora Borealis and learn a lot about the myths around this natural spectacle.

Day 7: Free day
Use this day at leisure to round off the program according to your ideas and personal wishes. Relax in the smoke sauna (included one afternoon during your stay) or actively explore the surrounding area. Day 8: Departure
After a final breakfast, a transfer will take you back to the airport. It will be sad to see you go, but you will take with you some incredible memories of a dreamlike husky vacation. You will certainly remember this unique experience for a long time to come!

Accommodation:
You will spend 3 nights in a cosy apartment with private sauna. The hotel is built entirely of wood and conveys a traditional and authentic atmosphere. You will spend one night in a shared wilderness cabin without running water, electricity and indoor toilet. However, an outdoor toilet and sauna are available. For 3 further nights you will be accommodated in a glass-roofed sky cabin. This cabin is located directly at the idyllic lake Jokijärvi and has a glass roof, a luxury bed, a toilet, a shower, a fridge, free Wi-Fi and its own sauna. After mid-January it is also possible to spend a night in an igloo (depending on weather conditions).

On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, there is a special Christmas tour program. For New Year's Eve, there is an exclusive package that includes a New Year's Eve party in a Finnish Kota.
