Comprehensive expedition voyage from Ushuaia via the Falkland Islands and South Georgia to Antarctica.
During this 21-day expedition (20 nights), you will explore the wildlife and natural landscapes of the Falkland Islands, South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula through landings, Zodiac rides, nature observations and an accompanying information programme. Depending on the route and conditions, there will be opportunities to see various species of penguins, albatrosses, elephant seals and other seals from a comfortable distance.

Wildlife of the South Atlantic and Antarctica:
During the voyage, and depending on route, season and conditions, there are opportunities to observe typical wildlife species of these regions in their natural habitat. Sightings of individual species cannot be guaranteed and are made from an appropriate distance.

- occasionally killer whales (orcas)
- seabirds including albatrosses, petrels and other coastal and pelagic birds
Each Zodiac outing and landing offers new opportunities for nature observation, for example on beaches, in sheltered bays or along rocky shorelines.
Life on board:
You travel on board the expedition vessel Sea Spirit and stay in your booked cabin category. Between daily landings and Zodiac cruises, there is time for relaxation as well as lectures and information programmes on the wildlife, geology, history and environment of the regions visited. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, as is a 24-hour water, tea and coffee station. Satellite Wi-Fi is available to a limited extent. Welcome and farewell drinks are also provided. For activities ashore, you receive a weatherproof expedition jacket (parka) to keep, a reusable water bottle, and sturdy, waterproof rubber boots (Muck Boots) on loan. A digital travel log documents the course of the expedition.

Additional Information for Expedition Cruises: The itinerary and route described are provided as examples only and may be adjusted or changed at any time due to weather, ice and tidal conditions, as well as for safety reasons. Specific landing sites, locations or route sections therefore cannot be guaranteed. The captain and expedition leader will make all final decisions regarding the route, landings and daily programme on site. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Landings and Zodiac excursions depend on local conditions and regulatory requirements. Optional activities have very limited availability; we recommend booking them well in advance, often weeks or months before departure, as they may be fully booked by the time of travel; their operation depends on weather, ice and safety conditions as well as minimum participation. Polar regions are remote and dynamic natural environments, therefore programme changes or delays may occur.
