Snowmobile adventure in Lapland

Snowmobile adventure in Lapland: The itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Lapland!
After your arrival at Oulu, Kuusamo or Rovaniemi airport, your transfer will be waiting to take you directly to the hotel Iso Syöte. On the journey, you can already get your first impressions of the beautiful landscape. Look forward to the last part of the drive: a winding road takes you up to the Iso Syöte hill. Prepare yourself for fantastic views! After checking in at the hotel, your first overnight stay awaits you. Get a good night's rest today so that you are well-prepared for the snowmobile adventures ahead. Please note that full board is only included for the time on the snowmobile tour. Catering at the hotel Iso Syöte consists of breakfast only, but can be extended to half board (at extra cost).

Day 2 - 4: Travelling by snowmobile
Enjoy breakfast before meeting up with your guide for a safety briefing on driving a snowmobile. When everything is ready, you will get on your own snowmobile (1 person per snowmobile) and follow the guide right into the adventure. During the three-day safari, you will learn something new every day and improve your snowmobile handling skills step by step. You will drive through the deep snow, along enchanting trails through the winter wonderland of Finland. Each day you will cover around 100 km. In the afternoon, you will reach various holiday cabins with private bedrooms where you will spend the night. Round off the day with a relaxing visit to the sauna and a well-earned dinner. Meals and drinks are included during the three-day snowmobile safari. In the afternoon on the fourth day, you will return to your starting point, the hotel Iso Syöte. Dinner on day 4 is not included in the tour price!

Day 5: Farewell & return journey
Unfortunately, today is already the day of your return journey. After a final breakfast, a transfer will take you back to the airport. You will certainly remember your unique snowmobile adventure in Finnish Lapland for a long time to come.

Accommodation
You will spend your first and last night at the beautiful hotel Iso Syöte. The cosy rooms have two separate beds, bathroom and TV. There is also space for an extra bed if required. The price includes a double room incl. breakfast, with a minimum occupancy of two people. Room upgrades are available on request (see "Extras"). The hotel facilities include a bar and a restaurant with à la carte service and buffet of Finnish and Lappish cuisine. Access to the Arctic Spa with pool, sauna, steam bath and whirlpool is included. Spa treatments can be booked for an additional fee.
During the three-day snowmobile safari, you will be accommodated in comfortable holiday cabins including sauna and full board.

Important information
Please note that the snowmobile adventure in Lapland is not suitable for children and requires at least an average level of fitness. You must also have a valid driving licence and be at least 18 years old. The price includes insurance for the snowmobile with a self-liability of €1000,- per case.
