Fantastic Huskytour into the Swedish mountains: the itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and dinner
Your adventure begins with a cozy dinner at the Snowtrail Dogcamp. Mats or your guide will inform you about the upcoming week during and after dinner. You get to know the area, the meteorological conditions, and the many facets of being a musher. You will spend the first night at the Snowtrail Dogcamp.
Day 2: Getting to know the Equipment and the Dogs
Start your day with a delicious breakfast in the middle of nowhere - your camp is located far away from civilization. This day is dedicated to getting to know the sled, equipment, and, of course, the individual dogs on your team. You also spend the second night at the Snowtrail Dogcamp. Stay excited, because your adventure starts tomorrow!
Day 3 - Day 8: Huskytour through the Wilderness of Sweden
These days are packed with breathtaking sled rides through untouched Fjäll landscapes, national parks, and along the famous Kungsleden. You prepare your own food and sleep in traditional Sami tents or simple huts. With some luck, you can observe the dancing Northern Lights at night. An unforgettable experience! You will lead your own team of 6 to 7 dogs. At the end of your journey, you return to the Snowtrail Dogcamp, where a last dinner and, optionally, a sauna with a bath in the ice hole await you. After that, you will be brought to the airport to start your journey back home.
Accommodation
You will stay 2 nights in the cozy Snowtrail Dogcamp (2 and 4 bedrooms, shared bathroom) and 5 nights in traditional Sami tents or simple huts without running water or electricity along the travel route. Enjoy the Scandinavian coziness and the direct contact with nature.

Additional Information:
The safety of our guests and animals is our top priority on all of our tours. The far north can have fluctuating and unpredictable weather with very strong temperature differences. Whilst we strive to follow the planned trails as closely as possible, we reserve the right to change the order of activities, the route of safaris, and the intensity of the excursions should the needs of our guests or animals necessitate it, or if the weather conditions compromise our pre-planned route. This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc). Feel free to contact us if you would like a more detailed assessment of this tour and travel period. The service providers and tour providers always perform their services in compliance with and in accordance with the official requirements and requirements applicable at the time of stay. For this reason, corona-related reasonable usage rules or restrictions may arise when using said services. Please note these official requirements (Google Translate).
Note: We recommend booking additional categories and guided activities directly with the tour package (several weeks or months before arrival), as these may be fully booked at the time of travel.
