On arrival, you will receive your warm winter clothing, including a down jacket, trousers, winter boots, a hat and gloves, so that you are well prepared for the cold temperatures. After checking in, you can relax and enjoy your first impressions of the magical Lappish landscape. To round off the day perfectly, you are invited to relax in the hot tub on the roof and admire the clear starry sky. Perhaps you will be lucky enough to experience the magical spectacle of the Northern Lights. Moreover, a delicious 3-course menu awaits you.

You will drive past untouched snow and enjoy breathtaking views. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to try your hand at traditional ice fishing, where you will prepare coffee together over an open fire and enjoy Swedish fika. After the break, continue your journey into the tranquil taiga forest, where you will choose the perfect Christmas tree. Fortify yourself with glögg (Swedish mulled wine) and pepparkaka (ginger cookies) before returning to the lodge, where a lovingly prepared 2-course lunch is served. In the evening, you will search for the mystical Northern Lights. Depending on conditions and forecasts, you will chase this unique natural spectacle by minibus, snowmobiles, or on foot with snowshoes.

Experience the fascination of driving a dog team yourself while enjoying the impressive landscape and the company of your animal companions (total duration of this excursion: approx. 5 hours). After an exciting day outdoors, you will celebrate Christmas Eve together with a traditional Swedish julbord (Christmas smorgasbord; festive buffet).
Day 4: Christmas celebration
After breakfast, you will gather to decorate the Christmas tree at the lodge. You will then be greeted by Santa Claus and his reindeer in a traditional Sami tent, where gifts will be distributed to all those who have been nice. Additional Information:
The order of tours and activities within this itinerary may vary due to weather conditions and other contributing factors that must be taken into account by the guides when planning your tour. You will receive the exact order of activities once you arrive on site. The far north can have fluctuating and unpredictable weather with very strong temperature differences. The safety of guests and animals comes first, and for this reason, we reserve the right to change the itinerary and intensity of activities if and when needed. This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc). Feel free to contact us if you would like a more detailed assessment of this tour and travel period. Optional activities have very limited availability; we recommend booking them well in advance, often weeks or months before departure, as they may be fully booked by the time of travel.
