Husky Farm Adventure Finland: The itinerary

All pictures of this partner Day 2 - Day 5: Your personal adventure
Look forward to days full of adventure in Finnish Lapland. Take care of the animals and enjoy the close coexistence to nature that is typical of the way of life here. Spend a night in the wilderness to get the most authentic experience possible. Learn the basics of dog sledding and start out in teams of two; once you are confident and familiar with the Huskies, take charge of your very own dog sled team! Enjoy the fantastic view and the silence that surrounds you, interrupted only by the dogs' paws crunching on the snow underfoot. On the slopes of your husky sled, you will glide over frozen lakes and through snow-covered forests. Take in the beautiful landscape of Finland and enjoy every moment of your trip. Take on tasks such as making fires or fetching water and learning a lot about life in the wilderness of the north. Keep your eyes open in the evening: with a little luck, you will see the magical auroras dancing in the night sky!
Day 6: Departure
Say goodbye to your faithful four-legged companions and start the journey home with many new experiences under your belt. Leave with fond memories that you will not forget in a hurry and take some aspects of what you have learnt in your time here with you back home.

Food
The Husky Farm Adventure Holiday does not include meals. Please note that your hosts will need to focus on the Husky farm's daily tasks rather than prepare food for you. To buy the food, either rent a car or use a taxi to get to the shops.
Additional Information:
The safety of our guests and animals is our top priority on all of our tours. The far north can have fluctuating and unpredictable weather with very strong temperature differences. Whilst we strive to follow the planned trails as closely as possible, we reserve the right to change the order of activities, the route of safaris, and the intensity of the excursions should the needs of our guests or animals necessitate it, or if the weather conditions compromise our pre-planned route. This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc). Feel free to contact us if you would like a more detailed assessment of this tour and travel period. The service providers and tour providers always perform their services in compliance with and in accordance with the official requirements and requirements applicable at the time of stay. For this reason, corona-related reasonable usage rules or restrictions may arise when using said services. Please note these official requirements (Google Translate).

Dear all,
I have experienced one of the most beautiful and exciting week of my life enjoying the wilderness. Everything was just perfect, the cabin, the tours, the horse riding and of course my huskies. A very great thank you to Alex and Tinja for the outdoor overnight we had...was concerned about it but it was amazing, highly recommended. Will be back soon....that's sure!
