Trappers' Day on Snowshoes
Learn how to experience the wilderness like the famous Norwegian explorers. This exciting and informative tour lasts about 3.5 hours and combines the joys of snowshoeing through the beautiful silence of the snowy forest with practical and fascinating information from an experienced wilderness guide. You will learn how to make fire with a stone, how to overcome natural obstacles covered by the snow and which animals made the footprints you discover. If you’re lucky, you may even see a willow grouse or an Arctic hare going about their daily routines. The tour includes snowshoes, a winter overall suit, boots, gloves and headwear as well as a light snack (vegetarian food can be prepared if advance notice is given).
