MS Sea Spirit

Similar to some of the birds found in the Arctic and Antarctic, the Sea Spirit follows the sun: heading north in the summer and south in the winter. During its journey, the ship is open to unexpected encounters, whether it’s with a group of whales, a polar bear family, or stunning glaciers. The Sea Spirit is highly maneuverable, allowing it to navigate the narrow fjords of eastern Greenland and the small bays of Svalbard. To continue offering guests a combination of adventure and comfort, the Sea Spirit was renovated in 2017. It is equipped with state-of-the-art Zero-Speed Stabilizers from Rolls Royce (installed in April 2019), which stabilize the ship not only during sailing but also reduce roll movements when the ship is stationary, while also minimizing vibrations and noise. Onboard, guests are welcomed into a comfortable and inviting atmosphere, with the aim of providing them with a memorable experience and deeper understanding of the polar regions. It is believed that the experiences gained on such a journey contribute to raising awareness for the protection of these unique natural areas and support their preservation for future generations.
