TThe MV Discoverer is a modern expedition cruise vessel designed for demanding itineraries worldwide. Extensively refurbished (most recently in 2023 and 2026), she combines a high level of comfort with true expedition capability. At approximately 108 metres in length and spanning seven decks, she accommodates a maximum of 130 guests, ensuring a personal atmosphere, accompanied by an experienced expedition team. Thanks to her Ice Class 1A rating, voyages to the Arctic and Antarctic can be undertaken safely. On board, guests enjoy exclusively outside cabins and suites, many with French balconies, along with spacious public areas, a restaurant, lounge, fitness and presentation facilities, open decks and whirlpools. For landings in remote regions, a fleet of 14 Zodiacs is available, while expert-led lectures and guiding enhance the experience. In this way, the MV Discoverer combines expedition heritage with modern comfort, enabling authentic journeys to some of the most remote corners of the world.

The Ocean Stateroom aboard the MV Discoverer offers comfortable and functional accommodation with direct outside views. A large window provide plenty of natural light and allow guests to enjoy the passing polar landscapes from the privacy of their cabin. The cabin is modern in design and features a cosy seating area as well as a desk. Amenities include a flat-screen TV with an interactive media library, telephone and Wi-Fi, along with a minibar or small refrigerator. A fitted wardrobe with safe, individually controlled air conditioning, and a private bathroom with luxury toiletries, bathrobe, slippers, and hairdryer add to the overall comfort. The result is a pleasant retreat to unwind after a day of expedition experiences.

The Porthole Stateroom aboard the MV Discoverer is a compact and functional cabin with a classic maritime character. Vista Stateroom

The Vista Stateroom aboard the MV Discoverer offers more space and a notably open sense of comfort compared to the cabins on Deck 3. Large panoramic windows allow plenty of natural light to fill the room and provide wide-ranging views of the surrounding polar landscape. Ideal for taking in the scenery from the comfort of your cabin. The amenities are in line with the other staterooms and include a cosy seating area as well as a desk. In addition, guests will find a flat-screen TV with an interactive media library, telephone and Wi-Fi, along with a minibar or small refrigerator. A fitted wardrobe with safe, individually controlled air conditioning, and a private bathroom with luxury toiletries, bathrobe, slippers, and hairdryer ensure a high level of comfort. The additional space and expansive windows create an even more relaxing retreat on board. Some of these cabins can also be booked as a Solo Vista Stateroom. A total of three cabins on this deck are reserved for this purpose, offering a comfortable sense of space for solo travellers with a size of approximately 16 to 18 m².

Navigator Stateroom

The Navigator Stateroom aboard the MV Discoverer is among the most spacious and exclusive cabin categories on board. At approximately 37 m², it offers significantly more space than the other cabins, creating a particularly comfortable living environment at sea. A private balcony with chairs provides uninterrupted views of the impressive polar landscapes. Ideal for enjoying the tranquillity of the expedition regions in a private setting. The cabin is located on Deck 7, the highest passenger deck, where there are only six cabins in total. This results in very little foot traffic and a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The amenities reflect the high standard on board, combining comfort with functional design to create an exclusive retreat on the ship’s uppermost deck.
