Dog Sledding

Experience the exciting world of dog sledding in the Yukon! The professional mushers invite you to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of sled dogs. You'll ride on a tandem sled with a guide and can decide for yourself whether you'd like to stand on the sled's runners or sit down and take in the scenery at your leisure. Experienced participants have the chance to lead their own team, although the final decision always rests with the guide, who is responsible for the safety of guests and dogs. The experience lasts about 2 hours in total and is available from December through March, depending on conditions. Children aged 7 and above and at least 130 cm tall may participate while sitting in the sled with a parent. Children 12 and older may stand on the runners or sit alone on the sled.
