Snowmobile Adventure

Experience an exciting snowmobile adventure as you ride through the wilderness of the Alta River Valley up to the inland highlands. Even though the sun does not rise above the horizon in winter, the Arctic light often creates stunning colours in the sky, making for a truly special experience on this excursion. The tour combines the thrill of riding with a visit to the Arctic tundra in unique lighting conditions. Before setting off, your experienced local guide will kit you out with a thermal suit, boots, gloves, a buff and a helmet, and will give you a thorough safety briefing as well as an introduction to the safe operation of the snowmobile. Stops are planned along the route, during which your guide will share stories. The total duration is approximately 3 hours. As standard, two people share a snowmobile; however, single-driver participation is also available for an additional charge. To drive a snowmobile, you must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid car or motorcycle driving licence.
