Ice Fishing

Experience a traditional Arctic winter activity, characterised by silence, vast landscapes and the tranquil rhythm of life on the frozen lake. The excursion begins at the hotel, where you will meet your guide before setting off into the surrounding wilderness on a snowmobile-pulled sledge. The journey takes you through snow-covered forests and across frozen terrain to a remote fishing spot. There, you’ll have the chance to try your hand at traditional Finnish ice fishing amidst the tranquil Arctic wilderness. Whilst you’re fishing on the lake, the guide will light an open fire and serve warm drinks and small sweet snacks in the wintry surroundings. The focus is less on the catch and more on the mindful experience: crisp winter air, the sound of the ice beneath the snow and the special tranquillity of the North. Duration: approx. 2 hours.
