Strengthen yourself on this wonderful morning with a hearty breakfast and look forward to the days ahead. Let the infectious energy and enthusiasm of the huskies get you excited for the coming adventure. First, you will meet your dog sled team and get to know them a little, then your guide will familiarise you with the technique of sledding. After the introduction and packing up the sleds with luggage and supplies, your first tour starts, which takes you to a hut 25 km away. You will drive past frozen lakes, dense forests, and high mountains. When you get to the hut, your first task will be to take care of your dogs, making sure they are rested and given plenty of food and water. With the water from the nearby river, you can prepare a delicious meal to enjoy. This experience is a truly authentic wilderness tour, and the hut has no running water or electricty.
Day 3: Cross the Lake into the Mountains
In the morning you will be greeted with joy by your huskies. After crossing over an expansive frozen lake, you and your team will head up into the mountains. Support your dogs with team spirirt and the odd helping hand. When the weather is nice, you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the mountain range on your journey. After a 35 km long dog sled ride you will reach your next hut. The huts are simple but warm and offer an excellent opportunity to relax and recharge your batteries. Take care of yourself and your dogs and look forward to the chances of seeing the magical Northern Lights.
Day 4: Your Adventure on the Husky Sled
After you have taken care of your dogs and have breakfast yourself, another dog sled ride in Sweden's fascinating wilderness begins. Today's tour has a length of 40 km and ends again in a cosy wilderness hut. If the weather permits and you cover enough kilometres, you may be able to spend the night in a small hotel. In the evening there is again a delicious meal.
Day 5: The Middle of Nowhere
Strengthen your dogs and yourself over breakfast for a wonderful day in the Swedish wilderness. At the end of today's sled journey, you will sleep once again in a wilderness hut without running water or electricity. Out here, in "The middle of nowhere" you can truly relax with a spectacular view of the mountains and the lake. Allow time to gather your thoughts and connect with nature in a way that many people these days do not get the chance to. Over a cosy candlelit dinner, you can review the day and exchange highlights with the other participants in the group. With a little luck, you will be able to watch the ethereal Northern Lights dancing across the night sky.
Day 6: Push Yourself to Your Limits
After a well-deserved restful sleep, your guide will take a look at the weather conditions and decide on the route. The longer route will take you and your husky team on a 65 km tour through more of the breathtaking landscape, the beauty of which immediately captivates the heart and imagination. You will spend the night again in an authentic wilderness hut without electricity and water. Light a fire and prepare a delicious dinner together.
Day 7: Back to Civilization
Today you will head back to the ranch, where you will spend the night. During the approximately 55 km route to the ranch, you will glide through the magical landscape with your dogs one last time, their paws crunching on the snow will be the only sound for miles. You will also have some great opportunities to capture these wonderful moments with photos. In the evening there will be a delicious meal where you can reminisce about the tour and your adventures one last time before heading off to bed.
Day 8: Departure
A final breakfast together will strengthen you for the journey home. Say goodbye to your beloved sled dogs, to whom you will have already built a deep bond within no time. You will take a lot of experiences and memories with you from this trip that you will not soon forget. Your hosts will take you to the airport and wave you off.

Additional Information:
The safety of our guests and animals is our top priority on all of our tours. The far north can have fluctuating and unpredictable weather with very strong temperature differences. Whilst we strive to follow the planned trails as closely as possible, we reserve the right to change the order of activities, the route of safaris, and the intensity of the excursions should the needs of our guests or animals necessitate it, or if the weather conditions compromise our pre-planned route. This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc). Feel free to contact us if you would like a more detailed assessment of this tour and travel period.
