As is customary in Finland, Christmas is spent in peace and tranquillity. Today the Christmas trees are ready for collection in the yard. You will get your own small Christmas tree to decorate your room. For lunch you will be served the traditional Christmas porridge. In the afternoon, you walk across the frozen lake to nearby Church Island. The Fins commemorate the deceased on this former cemetery island. Then you return to your accommodation, where you are welcomed with a hot drink. In the evening, you will enjoy a special Christmas dinner prepared for you by the hotel's kitchen. After dinner, Santa Claus comes for a visit and hands out presents to everyone.
Day 5: Christmas Day
Today you take a relaxing walk to the nearby island of Villinsaari. If you like, you can try tobogganing here. Afterwards, enjoy a hot drink by the campfire before returning to the lodge.
Day 6 & 7: Individual Christmas program
On these days you can relax and choose between various optional activities. You can relax in the smoke sauna, which is included during your stay one afternoon, and then take a refreshing dip in an ice hole if you dare! A northern lights evening is also included, where you can warm yourself with a hot drink in a traditional kota around a campfire while learning about the magic of this natural spectacle.
Optional guided tours include cycling (fatbiking) on the snow, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing or a visit to a reindeer farm. Of course, you also have the opportunity to take part in husky safaris or snowmobile tours of varying lengths. Glide through the wilderness of Lapland and enjoy the breathtaking nature of the far north. These unique activities round off your spectacular Christmas experience. Let us know if you are interested - we will tailor the trip to your wishes! In the evening you can warm up in your private sauna and relax in your festively decorated room.

Additional Information:
The order of tours and activities within this itinerary may vary due to weather conditions and other contributing factors that must be taken into account by the guides when planning your tour. You will receive the exact order of activities once you arrive on site. The far north can have fluctuating and unpredictable weather with very strong temperature differences. The safety of guests and animals comes first, and for this reason, we reserve the right to change the itinerary and intensity of activities if and when needed. This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc). Feel free to contact us if you would like a more detailed assessment of this tour and travel period. The service providers and tour providers always perform their services in compliance with and in accordance with the official requirements and requirements applicable at the time of stay.
