Day 1:
You will arrive at Kittila airport, and transfer to the Hotel Torassieppi where you can check in to your cosy and comfortable room or Northern Lights cabin. Once you have settled in, you will meet with your hosts who will be delighted to provide you with warm winter clothing for the duration of your stay. Enjoy a delicious dinner in the restaurant, and get a good night of sleep so that you are ready for your first full day of Lappish excitement!
Day 2: Reindeer farm
After a hearty breakfast, you will be taken to a local reindeer farm where you will be able to get hands-on with these majestic creatures. You will learn how to feed them and how to throw a successful lasso. You will also visit the museum which will help you understand everything there is to know about these amazing, beautiful animals. Then, set off on an exhilarating 3km reindeer ride through the snowy wilderness. Lunch will be served in a traditional Kota around an open fire, and then you are free to spend the afternoon as you wish. Why not set out on foot to explore the picturesque area around the hotel, or alternatively book an additional excursion? After a tasty dinner served in the main hotel restaurant, you will head out for an incredible evening activity — a night-time snowmobile safari! During your 20km trip through the magical Lappish forests, you will search for a glimpse of the stunning natural phenomenon of Aurora Borealis (aka the Northern Lights). Sightings cannot be guaranteed, but your tour guides will give you the best chance possible of seeing them. Relax after your busy day in your room or cosy cabin.Day 3: Husky Adventure

Snowshoe hire is included in your package and is a fun activity to try. Make sure you take your camera!

Important Information: Weather in Lapland is extremely variable. We reserve the right to change the order of activities and/or routes taken to best fit with the weather conditions during your tour and to keep tour participants and animals safe. Note: To drive a snowmobile you must have a valid driving license. Some activities may not be suitable for children under the age of 4.
Additional Information:
The order of tours and activities within this itinerary may vary due to weather conditions and other contributing factors that must be taken into account by the guides when planning your tour. You will receive the exact order of activities once you arrive on site. The far north can have fluctuating and unpredictable weather with very strong temperature differences. The safety of guests and animals comes first, and for this reason, we reserve the right to change the itinerary and intensity of activities if and when needed. This involves both adjustments due to insufficient snow (meaning we cannot drive the sleds) or too much snow (snowstorms and extreme cold can cause accidents and various other problems). The required adjustments and fallback options in rare cases are based on the day-to-day conditions and can be compensated by shorter or longer daily stages, alternative accommodations, or even single day trips. In extremely rare cases we may organise alternative transport (ie. cars, quad bikes, etc). Feel free to contact us if you would like a more detailed assessment of this tour and travel period.

24.3.2019-31.3.2019 - Unvergessliche Erlebnisse

19.01.2019 - Best of Lappland
